What you'll do:

Joining the client at their Global HQ in Reading, UK, your role will be to acquire and manage electronic component-supply relationships with Tier 1,2 & 3 OEM's, ODM's and Contract Manufacturer Companies across Europe. 

Your role will be to engage with these clients to offer the Client's Component Brokerage solutions, which includes services for cost-reduction, excess management, global sourcing and shortage-management to name a few.

You will work with the internal Sourcing and Quality team, to ensure the Components can be supplied in line with the client's expectations, before confirming the orders and managing the relationship.

In a fast-paced Sales, you will regularly look for ways to grow your own book of clients through cold-acquisition and networking, whilst promote the Strong brand of the Company. You will also be required to travel to mainland Europe to meet with your Clients and prospects.

Client Profile:

Denovo's client is a UK-established and owned Independent Component Distributor that has been adding value to the Component supply-chain Industry for nearly 15 years. They have a growing team, along with offices in Mainland Europe, Asia and North America. 

They support manufacturers in Industries as wide-ranging as Military & aerospace, Industrial, Automotive and Computing Spaces, are highly-accredited for Quality and their vibrant sales teams ensure there is both a professional and family-feel.

Requirements of the role:

- A minimum of three years' successful sales experience in the Independent distribution/Component-brokerage Industry in either the UK or across Europe;

- Ideally you will have a book of business with OEMs/ODM's/CM's in Military, Aerospace, Industrial or Computing Industry; 

- A strong knowledge of the Distribution market, understanding the trends and developments in the industry;

-You must be a natural sales 'hunter' - you seek out solid sales opportunities and are able to enage with key-stakeholders;

- You mst be fluent in English as standard, but it would be advantageous if you speak one of the following languages as well - Italian, German, French, Dutch, a Nordic Language, Polish or Russian; 

- You will be well-networked in the industry and able to build up business opportunities from within your network;

- You must have a strong eye for quality, able to uphold the client's excellent reputation and commitment to the customer;
