My client is one of the fastest-growing Independent electronic component distribution companies worldwide. They source, stock and deliver electronic components and finished goods for a wide spectrum of customers - including major manufacturers in computing, Aviation, Medical for example;
With HQ in USA and offices in Amsterdam, Munich, Hong Kong, Singapore, they will soon hit 1 Billion $ turnover.
This is a unique opportunity for an Account Manager who will cover the EMEA region, has affinity in technical sales, preferably B2B. You will receive a competitive basic salary and an industry-leading, uncapped commission.
The position will be based onsite in the Munich office, with (70-80%) regional travel covered by the company. This is a technical sales role, where you will market-map, cold-call, present a solid solution to clients, encompassing Supply, modernisation, shortages, product monitoring and deal with after-sales. You will be a resilient Sales professional and report in regularly to the Regional Manager - in this relatively flat organisation - in order to update, plan and forecast accordingly.
Skills you'll need..
- 2-3 years B2B Sales experience in a technical industry - preferably IT, Electronics, Computer-hardware for example - but not essential!
- Strong cold-calling and new business acquisition skills - you must be a natural Sales 'hunter'!
- Negotiation skills
- Excellent English (both verbal and written skills), an extra European language (German, Swedish, Polish, etc) is a plus.
- Ideally educated to at least Bachelor level
