My client is established in 1971 is the world's largest provider of switching power supplies and a major source for power management solutions, components, visual displays, industrial automation, networking products, and renewable energy solutions. It has sales offices and manufacturing plants worldwide.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- New business development and key account management in the industrial segment (including follow-up, active project management, and contract negotiations);
- Plan and execute the market strategies and create market overviews
- Be a key account manager to create and deploy strategy with deep understanding of customer requirements
- Provide data and sales reports for monthly reviews
- Present product technical presentations
- Develop and encourage a clear and open style of communication and be the link between the customers, the Business Units (BU) and factories in Asia
- Collect and analyse the market intelligence in the responsible industrial segment including market trends, competitions, technology movement etc
- Support cross business group / business unit accounts and enforce cross selling activities
- Minimum 5 years of sales and business development experience, preferably in the industrial segment
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in an international company
- Experience in selling power supplies or technical background in electronics is preferred
- Able to discuss and communicate technical and commercial details with customers in Europe and colleagues in Asia
- Excellent communication, interpersonal & presentation skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Team player, open minded, flexible and extrovert
- Candidates with strong and wide existing network in the industrial market is considered as a plus
