Denovo is working exclusively with a growing International Technology Distributor and solutions-company with their origins in the Republic of Ireland, but with a presence in 5 other European Countries and Asia. They represent a high-volume of specialst technology vendors for high-end servers & storage or cyber-security, to sport-wearables and Music equipment.

They are looking to hire Senior Sales professional as a Vendor Manager, for one of their esteemed sporting wearables Manufacturer, to cover the BeNeLux region. Working in a diverse function your role will be to expand the Vendors portfolio of clients, driving the acquisition of new ones, while also manafing the relationship with existing business. 

From an internal perspective, your priority will be to manage the relationship with the Vendor, ensure all KPI's are met including sales targets, service-level agremeents etc. Selling through the channels - both B2B and B2C - you will work with client sales teams to provide product updates, ensure effective upskilling and knowledge of the product-offering.

The role will require you to travel extensively across the region, attend exhibitions and trade events, work on-site at the vendor and of course, spend time in the office with the Amsterdam-based team.

Requirements for the role...

- A minimum of 10 years' experience of working as a Vendor Sales Manager or Channel Sales Manager within the Hardware or technology Industry; Essential

- Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in a large, blue-chip technology Distributor or solutions company with diverse vendor partners; essential;

- In depth knowledge of the Distribution and vendor market in the BeNeLux and a large network of resellers, system-integrator contacts as standard; essential;

- A strong track record of commercial sales and account management and a excellent commercial-mindset; essential;

- You must be fluent in both Dutch and English, both written and oral; essential;

- Extensive travel will be a requirement of the role, so you must be comfortable with this;

- An interest in sport, fitness and a knowledge of wearables would be advantageous, however not essential;
