My client is one of the fastest-growing Independent electronic component distribution companies worldwide. They source, stock and deliver electronic components and finished goods for a wide spectrum of customers - including major manufacturers in computing, Aviation, Medical for example;

Internationally present company with global distribution centers located in Singapore, Hong Kong and Miami. This is a unique opportunity for an Account Manager to take on not only within your language territory, but also the global markets.

This is a technical sales role, where you will market-map, cold-call, present a solid solution to clients, encompassing Supply, modernisation, shortages, product monitoring and deal with after-sales. You will be a resilient Sales professional and report in regularly to the Regional Manager - in this relatively flat organisation - in order to update, plan and forecast accordingly.

Position based in Amsterdam

Skills you'll need..

  • 3-4 years B2B Sales experience in a technical industry, like IT, Electronics, Computer-hardware for example;
  • Strong cold-calling and new business acquisition skills - you must be a natural Sales 'hunter'!
  • Negotiation skills
  • Professional English (both verbal and written skills), and an extra European language (Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, etc) is a plus.
  • Ideally educated to at least Bachelor level
