Denovo is working in partnership with a major player in the global Visual Marketing and Communications industry, to recruit a Senior Account Manager for their Frankfurt offices and national German projects.

Having made a name for themselves as a major player in Visual Communications, the Client offer Design, Printing and implementation services of Marketing materials, for major clients in the Retail and FMCG Industries. Their multiple office teams are small and tight-knit - set up to service local markets, but they also have the international reach of a Massive organization.


The Role: 

Due to recent demand, they are looking to hire an experienced Account Manager, who will sit on-site with their client - a massive retail Group based in Germany - ensure effective delivery and expand their services across that Company.  Well-versed in managing relationships and up-scaling key-accounts, you will also look for new opportunities to develop business with any of the Customer's Partners/Subsidiaries or other key players in the Industry.


Some Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the respective in-country market team to develop and deliver top-class Point-of-Purchase and Print Solutions.
  • As part of the European Business Plan, you will do your part to develop and deliver on your accounts.
  • Manage your Accounts effectively, being the key face of the client with their Customers and being an Important point of contact to share all relevant Commercial information.
  • You will continuously look to up-scale the Companies Order/Delivery sheet within your give Accounts.
  • Consult the end-client in ways in which to improve their business processes, in order to guarantee a quality service!
  • Contributing to tenders and proposals.
  • Ensure a solid line of Communication with Company Production teams to ensure effective Project delivery.
  • Work with the sales team and other Accounts teams to share knowledge and source new Business opportunities. 
  • Keep accurate and timely information on all your clients and have regular reporting responsibilities with European Management.


Criteria for Selection:

  • It is essential that you have 4-5 years experience in an Account Management, or Sales function within Print or Print Management, across the European region.
  • Ideally this experience will be in Visual Marketing or Communications for FMCG or Retail clients.
  • Proven Experience of up-scaling key Corporate accounts - delivering on a business plan to maximize a Customer relationship and Company revenues.
  • As part of this up-scaling, able to cross-sell Geographically.
  • Excellent client-management skills.
  • Comfortable with having some Business Development responsibilities - able to identify new Commercial opportunities along with Account Management - 2/3 Account Management / 1/3 new Business.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and a self-start.
  • Willing to travel to the client's site and nationally on a regular basis.
  • You must be fluent in English both written and oral - Being fluent in German is advantageous however not essential!
