What you'll do...

Joining the client's Regional team in Hannover, you will be responsible for reaching out and building long-term relationships with new and a small amount of Automotive clients in the region. Over 50% of your time will be spent traveling regionally - the North-half of Germany - and at times Nationally to meet with prospective clients and partners, to present solutions and business proposals to them.

As you are responsible and a part of the entire sales process, you will secure new contracts, before passing them on to the service and delivery team, ensuring a high-level of Quality is upheld at all times! You will manage the relationships with clients, turning them into lasting accounts and promote the business at trade shows and conferences. You will report in the Automotive Sales Manager for the Region and work closely with inside sales to support them!

Our client is one of Asia's leading Manufacturer of specialist electrical and Electronic connector systems and other products, used by some of the world's leading Telecoms, Consumer Electronics and Automotive Companies. They have had a presence in Europe since the beginning of the milennium in Germany, France, the Netherlands and the UK and due to their unique Asian culture, have a high-reputation of delivery and value.

Please note that there is no immediate home-office option for this role, but some flexibility may be negotiated during employment.

Skills you'll need...

- Ideally you will be educated to Degree level in Electricial engineering or a similar technical discipline.

- no less than 5 years Business Development or Commercial experience in Electrical/Electronic components, preferably connector systems.

- IT is essential that you have a large network and extensive experience within the German or International Automotive Industry, or working with Tier 1 Electronic equipment suppliers.

- You will be a natural Sales hunter, with a strong background in technical proposals and pitching to major Manufacturers (preferably Automotive or Car Manufacturers).

- An excellent negotiator and strong contractual awareness.

- Willing to travel over 50% of the role at the beginning around Germany - mostly the North.

- As standard, you must be fluent in both German and English (written and oral).
