Business Development Manager -Germany

- Join the industry leader in Logistics, Transportation software and solutions and take the lead on sales across the DACH region;

- Manage existing relationships from a pool of 500K+ customers, cross-selling integrated Transport Management Software products, to major Transport clients;

- Travel extensively, be a key deal-closer in the business and benefit from an uncapped commission scheme, with a generous Base Salary package;

What you'll do...

Denovo is working in partnership with a worldwide-established Transport Management platform and application, working with some of the best-known companies in Logistics and Supply Chain, to link up an experienced Business Development Manager, for the german-speaking countries.

Due to growth and the development of their product(s), they would like to add a talented Sales and Account Management professionals, who can leverage existing Customers - a massive portfolio of 500K + customers - by cross-selling different solutions for Mobile-app management, Customs Management and compliance for example. - with a big focus on the latter!

Using your previous experience of both Logistics and Software Sales, you will travel around the region, seeing clients on a regular basis to look at ways in which you can enhance, or up-sell further Transport Management solutions or software. You will work remotely otherwise, planning your business, looking for ways to find new leads and clients, maintaining relationships over the phone and reporting into management.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an energetic, self-starting Business Development or Account Management professional, who is passionate about Logistics, Software and promoting an excellent brand!

Skills you'll need..

- Educated to Bachelors Degree level is preferred;

- Native level in German and English is preferred - you will report into the VP of Sales in the Netherlands;

- A minimum of 7 years successful, B2B Sales and Business development experience in Software/SaaS sales is essential;

- Ideally you will have spent some time (3 years +)in the Logistics/Transport industry and be clued up on Digital or software-based Transport Management Systems;

- As a result, you will understand Customs Management and solutions for the Transport Industry;

- A self-starting salesperson, who can is motivated and has the resolve to work mostly remotely (30%), whilst traveling to Customers/Trade events (70%) of the time;

- Excellent in front of clients, whether pitching new solutions, or catching up;

- Excellent administration and communication skills;
