Denovo is working in partnership with a leading Technology Distributor, with their Netherlands HQ based in the South Utrect area, to recruit a talented Business Development professional. The client focus on Enterprise Software solutions and in this case require someone to hunt and acquire new clients - Resellers and System Intregrators - for their Microsoft Azure team!

This is a new, specialist team and your responsibility will be working within the team to coordinate both warm and cold leads, following up on these yourself, before going out to meet the client on site, to deliver presentations and look to onboard the Customer. Having a background in consultative or technical sales, you will be looking at ways to sell the Microsoft Azure solution, in combination with other technology, in order to optimise the end-user experience.

Reporting into the Microsoft Business Unit Director on a fortnightly basis, you will be responsible for managing your pipeline, implementing new sales plans, keeping a good relationship with the client throughout the on-boarding process and always looking for new clients. You will be required to travel extensively, on the road with this role, alternatively you will be based in the client's HQ in order to close the deals!

With Azure being a constantly-developing and evolving product, you will undergo the client's specific Microsoft training Program, to enhance your knowledge and sales skills, in line with this particular product!

Skills you'll need...

- An HBO/MBO degree is required, as you'll need to understand complex IT solutions;

- You will have a minimum of 5 years new Busines Development experience in an IT or Digital environment is essential;

- It is highly-prefered that you have 3 years'experience selling either Cloud solutions, or at least selling B2B Software-as-a-Solution (SaaS) solutions;

- You will also be able to engage and communicate with technical Cloud leads and technical authorities, to answer technical enquiries.

- An interest and passion for Software and the Digital industry is a must!

- A minimum of 2 years of channel or indirect sales and good experience of selling to resellers, system integrators;

- You will be a natural deal hunter and closer - you have the energy to pick up the phone and make the introduction to clients, as well as travel on the road to meet with customers, to try and onboard them;

- You are commercially-driven and self-motivated;

- Native level in Dutch and fluent in English;
