What you'll do...

Our client is based in a newly-regenerated area in Amsterdam-North and over the last 10 years have built a solid client-base with some the Netherland's most prestigious Companies in Aviation, Banking & Education for example. They have partnered with leading technology designers like HP and Cisco for example, to become experts in using their specialist accelerator tools, that speed up implementations.

They have integrated services for project or remote support, selling Licenses, Secondment and of course the full project implementation and consulting process. They have around 80 people on their books, comprising of technical Developers and Architects, support staff, sales and Resourcing Managers.

Due to successful growth, they need to add two successful Customer Managers, with a strong prior-background of Client and account mangement within the IT sector, to join them and manage their Corporate Customers. Being able to communicate on a Corporate level, your role will encompass building on existing relationships, upselling services where necessary and of course, all necessary contract-negotiation and after-sales for new assignments.

Once projects are won over, you will work in collaboration with IT technical staff, Architects, Consultants and resource managers, to ensure projects are handed-over, plans drawn up and delivered. You will also attend Trade and Marketing Events and network regularly, in the hope of bringing on new business prospects.

Skills you'll need..

- Native or fluent level Dutch both written and Oral (Essential);

- An HBO or Masters Degree preferably in an IT or Technical discpiline (others will be considered, but must have a Degree at least!);

5-7 years experience of Account Management or Customer Relationship Management experience in the IT, Consulting or Digital sector in the Netherlands;

- A minimum of 2 years experience in selling or up-selling secondment, implementations and or software licences services;

- A knowledge of IT implemetation software and accelerators (HP or Cisco for example), as well as Support Services, licensing would also be advantageous;

- You have good experience with Corporate/Top 100 clients and are able to communicate on a professional level - negotiate big contracts and tenders;

- More than just a Commercial professional, you have experience in operating at different levels within an organisation (strategic-tactical-operational etc.;

- You should be Consultative in your sales approach, able to think of a long-term solution and a confident communicator and negotiator;

- A knowledge of AGILE/SCRUM methodologies would be useful as well!
