What you'll do...

Our client has it's origins on the West coast of America, but is making a name for itself by providing expert SaaS solutions, for specialist Product developers in the Automotive, Space, Semiconductors and Medical space for example. With their European HQ in the centre of Haarlem, they provide integrated software solutions for Automation, enterprise IT development, compliance, data-analytics, so Product development companies can monitor their development progress.

With the german-speaking or DACH region at the forefront of technological and manufacturing development, they are looking for a new internal Account Executive, who will take the lead on new client and prospect generation. Based in Haarlem, you will work with the Senior Account Executive- based in West Germany - as well as Sales leadership, to research the different industry verticals, before cold-calling them to try and sell them the solution.

Your focus will be technology companies who are developing new hardware, firmware, or even complex software and you will build rapport through effective communication, following up through email, then setting up the next stage with the Senior Account Executive to go and meet face-to-face.

At the beginning you will be required to go the the US for training, will attend yearly annual summits, but also spend some time out of office meeting prestige clients and attendinf trade fairs!

Skills you'll need..

- It is essential you are native in German (both written and oral) and fluent in English - no negotiable!

- You will be educated to either Bachelors or Masters level, ideally in a technical discipline, but at least able to understand technical markets;

- At least 3 years in a B2B outbound sales environment, where you will have been successful in selling over the phone, prospecting/cold-calling new clients;

- A minimum of 1 years B2B sales in software, hardware or computer infrastructure;

- A resilient, hard-working attitude, where you are confident in picking up the phone to sell;

- At the same time, you will be intelligent, able to sell a technical solution over the phone, to C-Level managers;

- A genuine interest in technology and preferably computer software;

- As and when required, willing to travel, but please note that will be less important in the early stages of the role;

- Ambitious, positive and willing to grow into an external sales role in the future;

- Preference will be given to those, already living and working in the Netherlands;
