The company sells a wide range of Premium, branded networking equipment to a mixture of end-users and Distribution Channels across Europe. The company is based in both The Netherlands and Singapore with 2179 customers in 86 countries. Our client is a recognised Dutch and International reseller of bespoke Cisco networking equipment such as Switches, Routers, Modules, Optics and Security Solutions etc. Their business model is a circular one that saves an immense amount of CO2 emission coming with producing and wasting IT network equipment. Besides that, they belief IT can play a role in helping people in difficult circumstances. They support their customers investing in the charity of their choice and invest in projects that create positive change with IT for those with a distance to the labour market for example refugees. Since 2008 the company has delivered 100,000 refurbished network solutions to IT-companies and IT-departments of banks, universities, telcols and hospitals in 80 nations. They believe that the re-use if IT makes a difference: it saves time, money and the planet! For this reason they want to re-use half a million IT products by 2025. The Role: My client is looking for an energetic, resilient and confident Sales Account Manager with great communication skills who is not scared to pick up the phone to approach new prospects, get in line with the customers needs, sell them an integrated solution before closing the deal. As this sales role requires a full 360 focus in terms of acquisition and after-sales, you will be responsible for quoting, working with the buying team and of course managing the relationship with the client. Sales of networking equipment to existing and new customers, grow and develop on-going business relationships with accounts, identify and develop new sales opportunities will be part of your tasks. Requirements:HBO, or Bachelor would be a big plusA minimum of 1 year B2B Sales experience ideally in IT, Electronics, Telecoms, Engineering (B2C experience is also fine)1 year experience of cold-calling and new business development is essential and is a large part of the jobExperience with solutions sales is advantageous and able to drill down to the needs of a Business CustomerResilient, self-motivated, independent and able to take initiativeYou need to be fluent in English and in one of the following European languages : Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Polish etc.You must have the right to both live and work in the EU and please note that preference will be given to those already living in the Netherlands.
