    Denovo is working in exclusive partnership with a leader in Distribution of technology for IT hardware, Software, Digital and Printing Products, as well as integrated IT Consulting solutions, to source a talented, hands-on but also strategic Sales Manager. Joining them in their Gelderland HQ, you will take charge of the SMB/SME B2B sales team for the BeNeLux region - a team of 12 inside and outside account manager - and will be responsible for leading, coaching and supporting them in reaching their revenue targets.

    Reporting directly into the CCO and indirectly to the CEO, you will work with individual Account managers, to develop their client portfolio, manage relationships, as well as make their individual targets - giving expert advice when needed. You will work on a training plan for both the team and individuals, visit key customers in support of the team and look for ways to share best practice.

    This is a Strategic but hands-on role that will require you to have a lot of energy, be able to motivate, reward and develop people on a weekly basis! This role will be based 90% on site, with a small amount of time visiting Customers (10%).

    Skills you'll need..

    - You must be educated to HBO/BSC degree level, ideally in a technical or management discipline;
  • You will have a minimum of 5 years Sales Team-management experience - in a B2B sales environment - preferably for a team of 8+ (ESSENTIAL);
  • Preferably you will managed teams within the IT hardware, Electronics, Software or any form or Logistics/Distribution environment;
  • A proven background of Sales, Business Development or Account management - you've been there and done it yourself, so you can therefore lead others!
  • You are a hands-on manager, but can also delegate and give your team responsiblity;
  • You are also a strategic thinker and can work with Senior management to implement new strategies, think of ways to build the brand and be more successful;
  • You are hard-working, self-motivated, can deal with setbacks and are a genuine people manager;
  • You have been involved in interviewing and hiring and can work out the best ways for your team to play to their strengths;
  • You are fluent in both Dutch & English!

    On offer for you...

    - a good starting base salary between €60,000 and €80,000 + 8% holiday pay and commission scheme - around 20 - 25% of base salary;
