Functieomschrijving Senior Account Director Native Dutch PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Account Director is responsible for the development and growth of key Global accounts. This role is essential in strengthening relationships with the client and identifying growth opportunities for the business by ensuring the client is aware of and understands the full range of services offered. The Account Director will take full responsibility for the strategic and operational managements of the account, whilst managing key projects, developing a network of suppliers and managing their performance ensuring all work is completed in line with the SLA. This role involves the coordination of services and ensuring that the quality of service meets the client's expectations. A strong understanding of contracted terms and service levels is required, as well as taking ownership for overall financial performance of an account. The specific Account Director role in the Benelux team includes an element of change management. The existing organisation was recently merged from two operational teams into a new Benelux structure. The newly created role of Account Director will need to bring professional focus to drive value for local clients, also a new compelling standard of leading an account team needs to be set. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develops strong relationships with senior key decision makers Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of the client's business and sector Ensuring that the contract is managed in line with our contractual responsibilities Manages overall financial performance of the account, risk analysis and remedy Working with Commercial, Purchasing and Business Development teams to identify new business opportunities, engaging and implementing these services Carrying out and followingup on customer satisfaction surveys Regular MI reporting and production of account relationship plans Identifying risks to the account and putting in place strategies to manage these risks Contract review and renewal Responsible for budgeting and financial reconciliation, variance reporting and P&L activities Managing costs and operational problems Presenting at board level to internal and external stakeholders Operates effective two way communication with direct reports Identifies areas of business resource risk and works to structure teams to ensure balance Management of aged debt, including recovery and elimination Responds positively and promptly to client requirements and instils in others a passion to exceed client expectations Manage account performance against target and assume responsibility for your team EXPERIENCE Experience of working as an Account Director or equivalent Strong experience of dealing with large P&L budgets Experience of training and developing a team Client facing experiencing with strong experience in client services and account management Previous experience working in print/ print management/ print buying/ marketing print procurement is a pre Proven track record of operational management for client services departments WHY WORK WITH DENOVO Finding your next job through Denovo means being able to explore the best Sales & Marketing positions, getting the best remuneration package and making sure we work closely together, allowing you to always make the right decision.
